Thermal Wave Imaging, Inc. (TWI) and the Snell Group have released the 2024 schedule for the Thermal NDT of Materials / Thermography for Aerospace NDT courses.
Level 1: April 22-26, 2024
Level 2: TBD
TWI and Snell began offering these courses in 1998, to address the specific needs of the growing number of NDT personnel using thermography for aerospace applications. Since then, hundreds of inspectors, managers, engineers and scientists from leading aerospace, power generation and automotive companies have successfully completed the courses. The courses meet the training requirements established by ASNT TC-1A and NAS-410, and cover not only the practical issues involved in using thermography for NDT, but also on the unique (and evolving) challenges presented by modern composite, ceramic and metallic materials and the underlying principles of IR temperature measurement, materials science, heat transfer and signal processing. The courses are held at TWI so that the students have the opportunity to gain “hands-on” experience with state-of-the-art NDT systems in the TWI laboratory.
